House Blessings

Throughout January Father Stephen is available to bless houses.  As there are still COVID restrictions please arrange this by email holy.fathers [at] gmail.com or text him on his mobile number.

Youth Club

This Sunday is the monthly youth club.  The purpose of the youth club is for fellowship, fun, friendships and teaching.  All primary school and secondary school age children who attend our church are invited to join the youth club.  We currently have three groups in the junior section:  recruits, guardsmen and cross-bearers.  These children have a structured syllabus for catechism.

The secondary school age children are in one group called the Akolouthoi.  They have a programme aimed at developing life skills and introducing them to new and interesting things.  For example, Florin Gaina (a vet) introduced them to micro-organisms and cell structure using his microscope.  Theo Andreou took them on a visit to Shrewsbury museum to the recent exhibition of the 3,000 year old pendant with incredible intricate engraving.

If you have any skills, or interests that you can share with the Akolouthoi please let Fr Panteleimon, Presvytera Catherine, Dana Moldovan, Luke Thomas, Fodoulla Nicolaou, Theo Andreou or Antonina Psenikova – the youth club team – know.
