West Midlands branch of Christian Orthodox Thyateira Youth to be launched

The Archdiocese’s youth ministry organisation, Christian Orthodox Thyateira Youth (COTY), is establishing a “hub” in the West Midlands.

With the blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Nikitas of Thyateira and Great Britain, Christian Orthodox Thyateira Youth is established as a Ministry for Young People ages 16-35 (non-strictly). This newly formed Fellowship is the official Youth and Young Adult Ministry of the Archdiocese and is under the spiritual aegis and paternal guidance of the Archbishop of The Holy Orthodox Archdiocese of Thyateira and Great Britain, an Eparchy of the Ecumenical Patriarchate of Constantinople. A new website for the organisation was launched today: www.coty.org.uk. Here you can find details of upcoming events.

COTY is expanding out of London. West Midlands communities are now collaborating to form a hub for COTY to extend the archdiocese’s youth and young adult ministry to the region.

Are you between 16 and 35 interested in youth activities for Orthodox Christians in the West Midlands? Sign the form at the bottom of this page to be kept posted about future events.

COTY has two upcoming events:  A Karaoke Night (May 25) and a Young Adult Picnic (June 4).  The flyers for these events are below.
