Thank you for visiting our donations page. Here you will find various ways to donate to the church. We are a registered charity (reference: 1087910).

Regular Standing Order

Many people give this way. You can ask your bank to make regular payments from your account directly into the church’s bank account. To set up or amend a standing order, log in to your online banking or notify your local branch with our bank account details:

Community of the Holy Fathers
Account Number: 00438625
Sort Code: 30-97-62

Quote reference as: your first name and surname.

Once you have set up or amended your standing order please treasurer[at] so we can identify your gift and thank you.

Online Giving

You can give to the church using a debit/credit card securely through our InvestMyCommunity page. Please note that there are small administrative charges connected with every donation, and you will have the option to ‘top up’ your donation to include these should you wish.

Collection Basket

Some regularly give by cash or cheque using envelopes placed in the collection basket at services.

Payroll Giving

Some people use Payroll Giving. This is a way to give money without paying tax on it. It is paid through someone’s wages or pension. Your employer needs to set up and run the scheme and you provide our charity details. Please get in touch with a member of the community board if you would like details of our charity for Payroll Giving.

Gift Aid

Gift Aid is a scheme that allows charities to reclaim tax on gifts made by UK taxpayers. Under Gift Aid, a donation is worth 25% more at no extra cost to the giver. The church is a registered charity, and with Gift Aid we can claim £5 on a gift of £20 so that it is worth £25, and a gift of £80 is worth £100, etc.

To qualify for Gift Aid

  • The giver must pay Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax in the UK
  • In any tax year, the giver must pay at least as much tax as the amount to be reclaimed by the church
  • The giver must fill in a Gift Aid declaration form

A Gift Aid declaration can apply to one-off gifts as well as to regular giving. Please contact our Gift Aid secretary treasurer[at] if you’d like to give using Gift Aid.

Gifts in wills can help to transform the lives of the church of the Holy Fathers of Nicaea. They are an important part of Christian giving and leaving a gift to our church is a way to thank God for all the blessings you have received in your lifetime.
