Memory Eternal!
We are very sad to report that our dearly beloved friend and former president Ioannis Papagiannidis has died.
The whole family went down with COVID and came through it but poor Ioannis was not taking in enough Oxygen to keep his organs alive and died in intensive care.
Please pray for his wife Euphemia, their children Thomas, Giorgios, Panayiotis, Demetrios and Anna-Katerina. There will be a special collection for the family on Sunday. If you cannot be at church this Sunday you may give online here: https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=NQE2MDNPN97QW
Feast of Winefride
We celebrate the feast of Saint Winefride on 3 November. There will be vespers of the feast on the evening of 2 November at 7.00pm and a Divine Liturgy on 3 November at 9.00am. On the same day we also commemorate Saint Gwyddfarch of Meifod whose bed hut can still be seen on Moel yr Ancr (the hill of the anchorite) outside of the village of Meifod.
